Aqua'bloc BE is used as a waterproofing coating on all substrates (mineral, brick masonry, concrete, render,...). The product is used to create a waterproofing coating for subterranean applications, cellars, foundation,...

Aqua'bloc BE is a solvent free bitumen emulsion, for waterproofing and protection.

Can be applied on all mineral substrates such as lime-sandstone blocks, concrete, masonry, mineral render finishes such as applied on Granol'therm EWI systems, all loadbearing old mineral renders or paint. The substrate needs te be free of dust and slightly humid.

Before application, Aqua'bloc BE is preferably mechanically mixed to obtain a uniform and homogeneous consistency.
Aqua'bloc BE is applied with a roller, brush, trowel or float in at least 2 coats :
1. Basecoat : Aqua'bloc BE is diluted with up to 50% of clean water and applied with a roller or brush.
2. Waterproofing coat :
→ Undiluted Aqua'bloc BE is applied in 1 or 2 coats with a roller or brush.
→ In case of an uneven substrate, 3 parts of Aqua'bloc BE can be mixed with 3 parts of dry sand and 1 part of cement to obtain a waterproofing mortar. This mortar is applied with a trowel or float in 1 or 2 coats.
Always allow a drying time of 6-24 hours between subsequent layers (depending on the atmospheric conditions)
Do not apply at substrate and/or ambient temperatures below +5°C or above +30°C.
Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use.
Carefully protect all structural elements such as windows, sills, etc.

Basecoat: about 0,4 kg/m² per layer
Waterproofing: 2,5 kg/m² per mm

Ready to use, buckets of 30 kg. Protect from direct sunlight. Can be stored in a closed container for at least 6 months. Opened containers must be processed within a short period of time.
