Technical information

Technical information

Toepassingsgebied

Cement’in SP3 is a cement based mortar to create a waterproof render. in moist and wet areas. Cement’in SP3 is used as a waterproof cement render on balconies, terraces, loggias, production halls, washing halls, swimming pools and drinking water reservoirs as well as on the outer walls of cellars.

Samenstelling

Cement'in SP3 waterproofing mortar is an industrial dry mortar to create a waterproof rendered surface.

Eigenschappen

Cement'in SP3 is a waterproof, watervapour permeable, hydraulic hardening, low shrinkage, ready to use rendering mortar of the mortar group P III according to DIN 18550.
It has been tested according to test certificate nr. 21 1430 0 9801 MPA NRW (Materialprüfanstalt NordrheinWestfalen). Cement'in SP3 is distinguished by its high strength, not take any water at all and can already be tiled on after approx. 27 days (dependent of weather conditions) with ceramic tiles, concrete tiles or natural stone etc.

Voorbereiding ondergrond

Concrete substrates must at least be 6 months old. The substrate must be prepared according to DIN 18550 part 2. It must be clean, stable, sound and free of dust, oils, grease or other residues. Mechanically roughen the substrates if needed, e.g. brush, mill or sandblast. Strongly absorbing substrates must be sufficiently wetted or must be primed with Poroprim.

Voorbereiding mengsel

Pour 3,5 to 4 liters of clean water in a suitable container, fill a mixing machine or conveyer and add a 25 kg sack of Cement'in SP3. Mix the mortar with a low speed mechanical mixer to a lump free workable consistency.

Verwerken

Apply the fresh mortar evenly onto the prepared substrate in a 15¬-20 mm single layer. When a subsequent lying with ceramic tiles etc. has been planned, the render may only be rubbed or combed – not smoothed. After completing the activities, mixer, pump and hoses must be emptied and cleaned immediately. Important notice: Process only at temperatures (substrate temperatures) of + 5 °C to + 25 °C. In dry, hot or windy weather, humidify the surface in order to prevent drying out. Protect freshly applied surface from heavy rain, drying winds and strong sunlight.

Opmerking

Cement’in SP3 contains cement. This cement gives alkaline reactions in moist surroundings. Therefore skin irritations can occur. Skin and eyes must be protected. In the event of skin irritations thoroughly wash off with water and soap immediately. In the event of eye contact thoroughly rinse with water immediately and consult a physician.
