Very durable and weather-resistant paint, to be used on mineral surfaces that are suitable for applying silicates, e.g. brick masonry, gypsum plasters, cement or cement-lime renders, limestone walls, other silicate paints or paints based on white cement. Thanks to its specific properties, silicate paint is extremely suitable for the renovation of monuments.

Special water glass based, single-component organosilicate facade paint.

White, as standard. Can be tinted on request according to our colour chard.

Very vapor-open, minimal water absorption. Little sensitive to pollution, matte, weather-resistant, does not swell through water, does not form a film, does not pollute. Without solvents or preservatives. Antistatic.

The substrate should be vertical, load-bearing, clean, dry and suitable for applying silicates. If necessary, remove all non-load-bearing or loose parts. In the case of the use of pastel colors, the entire façade surface must be treated. The limitations mentioned in the field of application should always be followed. In case of doubt about the substrate, please contact our technical service.

Re-mix the paint before applying. Depending on the weather conditions, the paint can be diluted up to a maximum of 5% with Granokat'plus SV.

Apply Granokat'color with a brush or roller or with a suitable nebulizer, depending on the substrate. Immediately clean the tool with water after use. If applied in 2 layers, dilute the first layer with 5% Granokat'plus SV, apply the second layer undiluted. Drying time around 12 hours at 20°C and 65% relative humidity. The drying time will be longer at lower temperatures and higher humidity levels

Approx. 200 ml/m² per coat on a smooth surface.

Try on a test piece to exactly determine the consumption.

Ready for use in 15 l buckets. Keep away from frost, protect from the sun. It can be stored for at least 6 months in the original packaging, opened buckets should be applied shortly after opening.

Not to be used at temperatures below +10°C, at high levels of humidity, in case of frost or in full sun. Protect windows, tiles, marble and plants. A waiting period of 3 days is recommended between treatments (+20°C / humidity 65%) to prevent streaking. Respect safety instructions during application. Do not mix with other products to maintain the properties of the Granokat'color.
